The Parent. The Coach. The Mentor.
Speaks of a Journey… My Journey
A journey from my first baseball bat and ball that my mother, Mrs. Regina Beslow-Teague purchased for me when I was the tender age of 5 years old; to a parent of young boys sitting in the stands watching my sons compete, to a coach, teaching and encouraging both young men and young women on the sidelines, and then to a mentor that brings prayer, academics and
character building to the fore front.
I started out as a parent that had many concerns on how my son’s were being coached. I then became a coach because I wanted my sons as well as other children to participate, learn and have fun, in their youth sporting experiences.
This book is meant to have you ask yourself “What am I doing to help the growth and movement of our student athletes on and off the field of play?”
