All Roughneck widower Jerry Landers wants out of life is to take care of his daughters Jenny and Becky, run his construction company, and trade in his girly little Chihuahua for a "Real Dog". If only things were that simple.
When Jenny’s cheerleading coach is injured, Jerry tries to bridge his disconnect with his teen daughter by going to an "All Mom's" meeting where he unwittingly gets roped into coaching the squad by the throng of working Moms, when he puts his foot in his mouth and says that coaching the team is a "Woman's job".
Jenny freaks when she hears the news and upon demonic team Captain Veronica Sledgefield getting wind of it, she causes a mutiny and transfers to top rival Palmer Prep. making the regions best team unstoppable.
If that weren’t enough, Jerry’s rival, Frank “We Have More Equipment” Tank does his best to ruin Jerry’s business and steal the lucrative "Beef King" contract out from under him, trying to prove that he isn't "man Enough" for the job.
Somehow through it all, Jerry must try to guide the Granite City Blast's misfit squad to victory while simultaneously thwarting Frank Tank’s schemes.
