If you are a carp angler, then you will like this book.
Steve Graham has been an angler for more than fifty years, and now fishes almost exclusively for carp. He seldom fishes in England any more however, and spends most of his angling time besides many little-known lakes in France. Here he is often the only angler at the lake-side, and some of the fish that he catches have seldom seen a hook before. These are not commercial venues, but a mixture of club waters and private lakes that Steve has heard about from friends over the years and gained access to.
This book tells of a year in which he fished on ten of these lakes, catching some incredible fish, in beautiful surroundings. The excitement of not knowing how big that next fish may be, and not knowing exactly what each lake may contain, is just indescribable, and that sort of fishing is just not available to most anglers in England any more.
Steve doesn`t hold back any secrets, he just tells it how it happened, warts and all, with no plugs, and the book is just a very good read.
