Neil Andrew is an occasional teacher and frequent avocado-objector. He recently ‘took a career break’ (had a mid-life crisis) and searched for possible answers, and possible questions to the possible answers, whilst attempting to watch horse racing at all the British courses in an eighty day period.



He has an adorable and very understanding family. This is the first time he has done anything this absurd.



His amazing odyssey coincided with a turbulent year in his life, becoming both a distraction and complication to events unfolding in the ‘real world’. Could his ludicrous challenge, one that took twenty years to transition from crazy dream to stark reality, survive against the odds?
