For more than twenty years I have been involved in the automotive world and during that time I have met hundreds, if not thousands, of people. The majority of these people were not tech savvy, at least not about an automobile, and that’s okay because none of us can know everything about everything. Even though they did not understand all the intricacies of how their vehicle operated, they still wanted someone to explain things to them in such a way that they could at least get a basic understanding. It won't help you repair your own car, but it will certainly help you to better communicate with those who service your vehicle, as well as help you to gain an understanding of how the various systems of your car operate.
