This book is for you to test how many kanjis you can 'read' among those assigned for Japanese junior high schoolers. Japanese people are supposed to read and write these kanjis, for they are on the list of commonly used kanjis issued by the government. However, I'm guessing average Japanese high schoolers can spell out about 70 per cent of these at best. Some of these kanjis are even too minor to be called everyday-use anyway.
All the examples are native-made, everyday Japanese. ※Enlgish translations for the example sentences are not provided, but only romaji are put below each one.
