About the Author

Way back in 1981 Helen Bairstow became a skin and beauty therapist. Eventually owning three beauty businesses which gave her access to insider information ... but she didn't like what she saw.

She started to question the manufacturers about the ingredients in the products she was recommending and selling and began to see how natural ingredients were more effective AND less damaging to the skin. As a result she became VERY disillusioned with the beauty industry and could not live a lie any longer so left the beauty industry. But her friends wanted their skin to look like hers so Helen started sharing her 'skin secrets'. So she has written about what she learned from 20 years experience in the beauty industry.
