(Also available in paperback with added illustrations, under the title 'Next-Gen Pro Football: A Revolutionary Approach.')
Professional American football continues to be the most watched sport on American TV. The Super Bowl draws the largest US TV audience year after year, and the National Football League (NFL) now has an international following. Clearly, the game is a commercial success.
But the NFL has some room for improvements. Sooner or later, a next-generation professional football league will appear. It has to be a new league because substantial rule changes are needed to mend the most serious NFL flaw. The next-gen league will introduce new technology and innovations, and the big flaw will be fixed.
Some parents are reluctant to let their kids play organized football. This book introduces a safety concept that will encourage parents in that regard. It will also afford better protection for the young people.
There's no need for a next-gen ice hockey league, but an appendix applies two next-gen concepts to pro hockey.
