I have read this book through several times and had it been available 40 years ago I might have saved myself probably tens of thousands of pounds throughout the last 40 years of betting. It is an indisputable goldmine of how and how not to bet and equally importantly betting management. Not something I had really thought about until I read this book. I loved the author's true stories of his experiences on course and as an educational tool for anyone new to betting on horses, it is priceless.

It is now embedded in my thoughts when I am considering placing a bet. If you follow these guiding principles you will have the strongest possible advantage over the arch foe the bookmakers. In fact I would go as far as to say that over a period of time it is
practically certain you will be ahead. If you buy one book this year make it this one. It will change your life.
