You may know Japanese is abundant in onomatopoeic words. Here is a little workbook to find how much you are familiar with such words.
Section I covers most of the Japanese otomatopoeias that you will encounter in every day life in Japan. The questions are fill-in-the-blank type like the one below.
・ピンチの時に (dithered) するだけの彼を見て幻滅した。
pinchi no toki ni suru dake no kare o mite genmetsu shita.
You are to put オロオロ or あたふた to complete this sentence.
Section II deals with onomatopoeias for the sounds that things around you make such as ワンワン(bowbow) and ハクション!(achoo!).
In Section III, you are to choose the right onomatopoeia that has much to do with the Japanese word given as a clue.
